Build A Mosque in our Compound in Lhoong, Aceh, Indonesia Posted February 28, 2014 by Nizma Schofield

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build something similar for him in Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim].

Mosques are the centre of any community where people can congregate for their five prayers and Friday congregation sermons. A mosque serves as a place where Muslims can come together not only for prayers, but for information, education and meetings.

Since the 2004 Tsunami hundreds of Mosques have been either totally demolished or very badly damaged, resulting in communities being deprived of such an important institution in the compound of Gampong Anuek Shaleh and the people in their village.

CFC UK with one of our generous donors has already started to build the foundation of the mosque since last February 2013 in the compound of Gampong Aneuk Shaleh, at Paroy village, sub-district of Lhoong, Aceh, Indonesia.
